Santierul Naval Galati

Santierul Naval Galati is one of Romania's largest shipbuilding facilities, established on the Danube in 1893. Over more than a century it has delivered cargo ships, tugs, research vessels and naval craft, and since the late 1990s has operated within the Damen Shipyards Group.

A number of its mid-century steel vessels have been comprehensively rebuilt as classic motor yachts, retaining heavy displacement hulls with very long range while receiving modern yacht interiors and machinery. These conversions appeal to owners looking for character, volume and genuine ocean-crossing ability.
