Orion Yachts

Orion Yachts is a boutique Italian builder working in the 50-metre, sub-500 GT segment — the sweet spot where a yacht gains substantial volume while remaining below the regulatory threshold that triggers heavier commercial requirements. The yard operates on a semi-custom basis, developing platforms with external design studios rather than maintaining a large in-house styling department.

Its current flagship project, Project Tide, is a 52-metre steel displacement yacht with naval architecture by Axis Group Yacht Design and exterior styling by Horacio Bozzo Design, accommodating twelve guests in six cabins with a 4,000 nautical mile range on Caterpillar C32 ACERT power.

As a newer entrant, Orion positions itself on build quality and design partnerships rather than volume, competing with the established Italian yards through flexibility and shorter decision chains.
