CRN

CRN, which stands for Costruzioni e Riparazioni Navali, was founded in 1963 in Ancona, Italy, by Sanzio Nicolini. The company initially focused on building yachts ranging from 15 to 20 meters. Over time, CRN expanded its capabilities, moving into the construction of larger steel and aluminum yachts. A notable early achievement was the 23-meter Begonia in 1970, marking a step towards larger custom projects. The shipyard later delivered several vessels that established its reputation in the superyacht sector.

In 1999, CRN became part of the Ferretti Group, an Italian multinational shipbuilding company. This acquisition led to further investments in CRN's facilities and production processes. The shipyard maintained its focus on fully custom displacement and semi-displacement yachts, primarily using steel and aluminum for hull and superstructure construction. CRN's production facilities are located in Ancona, Italy, where the shipyard manages the entire construction process from design to delivery, including outfitting and joinery.
